i didn't really i was jsut disagreeing that his name had been tarnished. i've left a typo to the lfet somewhere (ooo another one!).

to be honest if i made a list of my favourite city players from my time barmy+b wouldn't make the cut but i thought his sacking was shabby treatment and badly handled reflecting very badly on the owners.

May I just say, I've had time to chill out and had a couple beers and would like to apologise if I came across as rude to anyone. I was probably a bit rough around the edges with my tone. I think people Know my stance on it so I won't be saying much more but thought I'd just say this to whomever I may have annoyed.
We all love our club that's for sure and I'm sure we all have the best intentions.

No thats what they have released to the media. Its probably more along the lines of Barmby siding with Adam Pearson. The Adam Pearson who made loads of **** decisions while being the Director of football.

It doesn't matter if they had an ulterior motive, the fact is that they sacked Nick for his comments in the media and for that alone.

If Nick is going to contest his sacking, it will be for what he was sacked for, not for extra reasons that the owners added later.

I know what Nick is pissed off with, I know he's really pissed off, but I have no idea about the terms of his contract, if he's entitled to anything, or what will happen in the coming weeks.

I believe he's been shafted, I'll always believe he's been shafted and I'm deeply disappointed that it happened, but the reality is that he's no longer with us. I wish he was, but he isn't and there are no circumstances that will see him return, so we have to move on.

What's happened to Nick is now a side show, we will appoint a new manager shortly, we'll probably spend a few quid as a result of what's happened and I suspect we'll do fairly well next season. It should all have been handled so much better, but it wasn't, we move on.

Agree totally. Post of this week?

Can we now stop all threads deteriorating into a debate about whose side you're on please?
