    I hope not as I hate the ****. Old, injury prone and a complete bellend who doesnt score in the PL, only against Slovian sides in the EC.

    I really really hope hes wrong.

    Ric-Roc in fairness knows his stuff so maybe it isn't a joke after all, but it ought to be.

    I hope its a joke but hes the only poster with a confirmed source inside LR, a 1st team player.

    Hooper wouldnt be that much more expensive as his wages would be less and wed be able to sell him on after. Johnson will be another Agyemang or Vine. A drain on our finances while contributing nothing.

    Share Flyer's dismay on this, but Ric-Roc's stuff is usually solid. Signing next week apparently. He (Ric-Roc) is also saying DJ may be off to Reading.

    I can see us being a team where old Fulham, Blackburn and Man City (pre cash) players come to roost in the twilight of their careers.

    Much as I like AJ's workrate and attitude, this isn't the sort of progressive signing I was hoping for.

    Thats okay that RicRoc reckons Reading are just showing interest which is okay because i just went on their deluded Message board and they reckon they are Signing Yakubu/Owen/Sig/Long/Doyle/Hoillet/Lukaku/Kranjar/saha/Rhodes and the best one is Defoe? <laugh> where is CB when you need him?

    I'm really interested to see if this pans out as I've always thought DJ was Ric-Roc's source. Re AJ, if it's true, I guess Sparky's worked with him up close before and thinks he can offer something but colour me underwhelmed at the moment.

    I'd rather have Kevin Phillips than AJ. At least he still knows where the net is. In fact I'd even rather have Owen.

    Id rather have anyone, out of all the players linked, i think he has the least to offer. I just hope its a one year deal but I know its going to be 3 or 4 years.

    Odds on DJ hitting 15 for the Fakes next season? To be honest won't be upset to see him go if this is true, needs lots of games and won't get them with us. Johnson pretty underwhelming, but works hard and if he's happy to sit on the bench......

    Exactly, normally i wouldnt be worried but this guy has a got a true source. Id rather keep DJ than get Johnson.
