acording to the sun this morning kuwait billionaire whos worth over 1 billion quid (send him a begging letter)is poised to take over at nottingham forest by the beg of next week u watch them now buy everything in sight and even challenge man city might be worth a few quid on them in the 20s at william hill today
When you consider that Alisher Usmanov is worth 18 billion, 1 billion makes this guy look like Dave Whelan.
There are quite a few "billionaires" whos capital wealth is only in the millions, but equity value of shares etc.. are worth billions at current stock value. You know this already of course with your career in actuary but my point is you can get "billionaires" who dont actually have a billion quid on them. Then theres the issue of billionaire in what currency. A billionaire in dollars is not necessarily a billionaire in sterling and all that.
Come on now Jacky, don't try and teach your granny to suck eggs and there is no need to say a billion dollars is "not necessarily" worth a billion quid, as I can't remember when they were on parity! I'm pretty sure he was meaning that he was a billionaire in Sterling, him mentioning "quid" gave that one away. I would say the vast majority of billionaires don't actually have a billion quid "on them"!
Aye, im sure the championship will be an irresistable draw to the cream of world football. Actually why am i debating with jonathan aspergers
You do know about the financial fair play rule that comes into the championship next season right? Of course there’s ways around it to a certain degree like selling naming rights etc but Forrest wont be snapping everyone up like Leicester did. The rules have changed.
Normally refers to dollars. USA still rules the world despite premature reports of their demise. The euro, which is basically the Deutch Mark in a new incarnation, is being undermined by the refusal of the wealthy nations in the eurozone to assume collective responsibility for the debts of the weaker economies on the fringes. I advise you to bin the euro, it'll soon be worthless. Buy dollars or sterling, as the Anglo Saxon economies have proved their resilience over centuries. Hope this helps.
