he might be popular Spurcat..hes bound to be...hes english and an old boy...but i think there are many former players of all nationalities that are probably not up to much who i think did alot more on the pitch and therefore could pass alot more on..i liked them both as players...but as coaches? im not so sure...and im not being funny but if they are doing an excellent job then i hate to think what our strikers and some midfielders would be like without them....everything from within is always rosey it seems with personel.....but for me as a fan i dont think we are doing as well as we can with employing old boys forever and ever.

Fair comments mate. I will say, about 6 months ago I would have totally agreed with you, but now I am content to accept Sherwood has been a decent appointment who is doing a good job. Everyone at the club is singing his praises, and whilst there is nothing concrete out there in the public world (apart from various quotes on the official site from Jake Livermore), I prefer to give the guy the benefit of doubt and accept he's been a good appointment.

i always respect that you probably have more of an insight into what goes on behind closed doors due to your job...and therefore will not dismiss what you say about TS and his progress and take it on board...im just a fan looking from the outside trying to make sense of the bits n pieces. p.s i havent seen you around for a while..thought you might be tying up some goalkeeping talent for us

You're entitled to question what these guys do and where/why did we get them. Sherwood moved from being a golfing mate of Jamie's and out of the game, to a high profile position at Spurs. So it's understandable why genuine fans ask questions about the 'old pals act'. As I mentioned earlier, I did the same, but now appreciate he's been a good acquisition. I've not been around for a while. Taking a break to be honest, nothing more mysterious than that

I would love that job! Leaving school now, planning to go to Uni next year. Would basically be a gap year before Uni!
