As a member of the HCOSC I am a little bit annoyed by the fact that the club has decided to put an admission charge on using the bar on a match day. £20 for non members and £10 for members. Didnt know this until this evening. Thought others may want to know this!!

Ridiculous. The OSC membership itself is only £8 how can they charge more than a year's membership to use the bloody sports bar. The OSC won't be happy.

Well it is on the OSC website and their line is that they feel this is the best option to go for, pay on the day will be avaliable as well! Just annoying really as that was a major reason why i became a member!

Just take some cans of Special Brew and drink directly outside the entrance.

    That'll learn 'em.

    I'll still renew though.

I like the idea of having somewhere warm to drink on a cold evening/ afternoon and the ale in there was decent!!

I went in there a few times last season and it certainly beats drinking out of plastic glasses on the concourse.

I'll give the Special Brew approach a go for a few games and see how it goes in any case.

The club are forever changing the goalposts for the OSC these days. For years the biggest benefit to being in the OSC was free entry to PotY events and Fans' forums. The Allams and Nige decided that they didn't want either of those events to happen last year, leaving the OSC to explain to its members why they weren't getting what they'd paid for. They offered the sports bar to be an OSC area and that was a good idea for a while. This year a forum never happened again though I don't know the reasons why, and now OSC members don't get entry to the sports bar or a fans forum included. The OSC try to promote the club and put on events for fans, its supposed to be mutually beneficial but the club don't help much these days.

Less than £1 a game, it's hardly breaking the bank. I don't like the principle of it but it's certainly not something that would stop you going.

When i renewed by OSC membership last summer it was £20 for 3 years(upto 2014) incl.free entry to the sports bar. Goal posts have indeed been moved and changed. But a 50% reduction to season ticket/OSC members is nothing i guess.
