i don't have to justify it. I have concentrated solely on the historical aspects of the bible and its applications. i have rarely touched upon my own theology. If you want an answer to a Theological question, then you can find it, but when you spout ****e I can pull you up on it.
I never made any erroneous statements. I understand you disagree about my understanding of the Christian God, but it's pretty black and white.
Admit it. It isn't that you won't, it is because you can't. You are a mug punter who endorses a sect responsible for mass murder through the ages, continued bigotry, racism, sexism, homophobia, *****philia....need I go on?
I don't just disagree with your understanding. I know it to be flawed. It is pretty black and white. you are wrong.
I laughed at you telling sirtfireball to 'look it up' instead of answering him, and you told me that I was wrong. I want to know why you did that.
Surely you can't be serious and claim the historically correct parts of the Bible back up or confirm the existence of God? To save you time typing it I know your name isn't Shirley.
Why am I wrong? It's all well and good saying we're wrong, but it would be nice to know what your view is - presumably the 'correct' one.
What makes me laugh regarding Jesus miracles is the lack of evidence. Millions of people saw David Copperfield make the Statue of Liberty disappear, and it's on video, so surely we should start worshipping him?
Wrong because whilst that is some Christians understanding of God, it is not all Christians understanding of God in that many Christian denominations are quite happy with ideas that stray from the book of Genesis.
As I said, Jesus said that none of the Old Testament should be discredited. Any definition of God other than that strays from the original Christian understanding. It is a new God that has been created to fit with more modern understandings of human existence. Either you believe all of it or you refute/deny/ignore the word of Jesus.
And what scripture do you base this on? It wouldn't be the one about the Commandment of God would it?
