Wums don't really come in here (touch wood) as the title of the thread doesn't attract them. I find this is a good place to talk without the crap from wums.

 

According to Wailing Whelan Martinez was'nt offered the job.

The Wigan supremo said: "Roberto is staying at Wigan and, of course, I am absolutely delighted. He was never offered the job at Liverpool because he wasn't happy with the way the job was presented to him."

And he also said Villa weren't a big enough club for Martinez and that he'd only leave Wigan if one of 'the top clubs in Europe' come in for him.

The sad thing is for Martinez that Whelan's bitterness and arrogance has blackmailed him to stay at Wigan where he's still facing the chop if things go pear shaped next season.

This from only 3 months ago shows how ruthless Whelan will be.
