I hope he fails. Nothing against him, I just despise Liverpool. Most scouters I've met are Evertonians. Only people I know who support Liverpool are not from there.
I really don't like that Wood guy, can't get to many games so rely on places like the HDM feed, the guy is a first class idiot. I suppose the HDM is never going to have good sports journalists though realistically but still.
This incident summed him up. Can you imagine him trying to save time on his own job by loudly conducting an interview whilst Jose, Fergie or Wenger was speaking to massed media ranks? No, he wouldnt and it showed his lack of resepct for someone with far more credibility and kudos than he will ever have.
I never knew he was a Leeds fan either, no surprise there then. I don't think any of the HDM journalists support us as far as I know. I''m trying to use here more than the local media now as it seems that there are a few clued up people lurking on the board, probably have more idea what's going on, even though all of us are in the dark a bit at the moment.
Are there really no local footall fans who might be interested in this kind of job? Why do we always have to put up with Sunderland, Ipswich and now Leeds (ffs!) fans reporting on our club with no real interest in it. I don't mind Burnsy and Swanny because you really get the impression they support the club even if they aren't from round here.
Erm, I'm afraid you couldnt be more wrong. I dont mind Swanny as a bloke but the first thing he asks every single half time is "How are Leeds getting on?" It's literally all him and Wood talk about. They're both huge TWS fans and it is a bit galling when they celebrate City defeats and Leeds wins.
I know Swanny is also a Leeds fan but he hides it much better when he is on air, even when we're against Leeds. Obviously I can't comment on what he is like behind the scenes. Out of interest though, if you don't mind me asking, what do you do that gives you access to all this behind the scenes media stuff?
Manager fees seem to be significantly on the rise. Sigurdsson's transfer fee has been paid for by Rodgers' £7m compensation package, so if they can find a good replacement, it's a hell of a deal for Swansea.
