Good Morning Everyone, Last week Warnock announced that he was "frustrated and disappointed" that he had only managed to sign Jason Pearce so far during pre season, this morning there are many rumours flying about that he will be joining Forest. Al Hasawi was rumoured to be one if the interested parties in buying out Ken Bates but a report in the Sun claims that his focus is on Forest, who of course inflicted last seasons record-breaking 7-3 defeat on us under Warnock's tenure.However the quote that will have Leeds fans quaking will be the One about Warnock. He reportedly said "The same coach that propelled QPR into the Premier League...We are now negotiating with him to coach the English team I am buying" Now, a Chicago based consortium have emerged as the speculated front-runners at the moment. I don't know about you, but I'm finding it difficult keeping up with this..... Not much else to report at the moment, lets keep the rumours coming.... The Snodgrass rumours have gone quiet as Lambert has quit the Canaries. Lets face it, he has probably taken them as far as they will ever go.....

Sadly we just have to sit this one out, the last 48 hours have been so up and down with who it might or might not be. I read today a link that suggests the Redskins owner who sounds like Ken Bates v2.0 - Yesterday I had built my hopes up of it being the guy from Kuwait who now sounds like he could be lining up Forest. At the end of the day there are two parties looking at purchasing us, if one of them do take control and it provides more backing then Ken then it will be a bonus. I still haven't ruled out nothing materialising and we go into next season with Ken in charge and no Warnock who will walk due to not obtaining any of his targets or any funding and Bates blaming it on the 'time wasting takeover' and pointing the finger at LUST - He is a vindictive nasty piece of **** and I would not put anything past him.

I have a horrible feeling it will turn out it was Leeds and bates who refused to sell more than 30%. Whats the betting that the reason for that one, when the Kuwaiti buys Forest, will be spun by someone as all the fault of those fans who demonstrated when the Kuwaiti visited Kenneth? In the absence of hard facts you can be euphoric or depressed. I am voting for: - over generous Kuwaiti buys Forest not Leeds, due to failure to agree terms with Bates - Warnock leaves to join Forest for twice the salary - any remaining good players follow him out of the door - we end up with either no investment or someone who makes Kenneth look like father Christmas (actually.....) But then I am an optimist.
This reminds me horribly of the post-Ridsdale era when John Mckenzie went cap in hand to some random Chinese businessmen to bail us out...strangely they said no. But let's be optimistic. If you were looking to invest in a football club then where better to look than Leeds? Huge fanbase, huge potential. I have a soft spot for Forest but they are never going to be as big as they were during the Clough years and unlikely to be a bigger club than Leeds in the long-term. So someone will come in for us at some point and ANYONE would be better than Bates. One thing that worries me though is how any well meaning investor will be treated by Bates. Given his disgraceful - and frankly racist - comments about the Chinese Olympic team coming to Leeds, can you imagine how he would speak to a Kuwaiti businessman? I shudder to think.
Morning all. This take over or investment lark is just too confusing to keep up with. Me thinks I'll wait until we see something more certain. Disappointed to read that Lambert is going to Villa. Not a good move I think. Pity that Swansea have lost their Manager, but at least its a clear step up for him.
Hope to god the lates rumour isn't true The chicago based Casino owner whos wanting to "invest" £10 million pound. Sounds like hes just gonna build a casino in the west stand rather than worry about the footballing side!!!!!

Very worried about this talk of it just being a stadium naming rights deal. That would be just our luck, Ken sticks around and we're stuck with the Chicago Town Pizza stadium. Also, lots of people are now saying this Kuwaiti guy was talking bollocks and he hasn't bought a club at all.

Afternoon guys, listen stop panicking, LUST have already said about it being a takeover, and its something they set up !! so lets just wait for an official statement before the voodoo dolls come out again !!
