Well, Page and myself were about too but don't mind us... Edit: Just realised the time of post, I'll go back to hiding...
Not putting a thread up on this as it will attract unwanted attention. http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/lfc-marks-heysel-anniversary Liverpool Football Club today remembers the 39 football fans who died when a wall collapsed at the Heysel Stadium in Belgium on this day 27 years ago. Managing director Ian Ayre will lay the club's floral tribute at the foot of the Heysel Memorial Plaque in the Centenary Stand this morning. The tragedy unfolded on May 29, 1985, at the European Cup final between Liverpool and Juventus, when what should have been one of the greatest nights in the club's history turned into a nightmare. Instead of leaving Brussels having seen our team lift a fifth European Cup, Liverpool supporters travelled back to England having witnessed the deaths of 39 football supporters including 32 Italian fans of Juventus, four Belgians, two from France and one man from Northern Ireland. where are all 4 lfc mods? that thread should have been closed whe nthe first deliberate muppet turned up. he brought others when he saw there were no mods.
If they go too far then one of the mods will ask for a ban. It's up to the mods to decide if they have gone too far. The mods can also delete posts orhe thread.
I know mods can delete posts but I don't think that's enough for these people. They must have diaries full of the dates of tragedies so they can go round provoking people affected by them. How far do they have to go for it to be deemed too far? Digs at footballing matters are ok but using death to score points really is low.
All they want is for us to react, I used to be terrible for biting and would camp on the GC for a couple of weeks to piss them off. Not worth it though as they don't want to listen to another opinion.
I'm going to avoid the main board today, too many wums. I'm going to be camped in here and would welcome any sensible debate on our new manager. We should use this thread more often.
lol I noticed, came on this morning and every thread has been affected. Not your usual wums of rival clubs either. They're all from lesser teams. Expected really, had we got Martinez it would have been "You got a **** manager", with Rodgers we are the team that has ruined his career and Swansea. Really hope we play some fantastic football next season and hope Rodgers gets applauded. The comments about it not being 'his work' at Swansea is pure bitter ****e.
The more I read about this guy the more confidant I feel, he's so dedicated to the game and a philosiphy of how it should be played. Looking forward to seeing who he brings in now.
Problem is there's nothing to stop them coming in here if this is where the action is. At least whilst there are threads going to occupy their little minds they stay out of the pub.
