Ba seems more realistic for us..wont cost much as he has apparently got a release clause of 7 mill?

Harry loves a bargain......so sounds realistic...i just ope hes a success for us as he has been for Toon.....

even if there's a release clause of 7mill... that won't stop levy from offering £4m! nothing will!!

And if they accept he'll claim the deal was for them to pay us £4mill.

This is one of the ****test pieces of "journalism" I've ever read:

    http://www.givemefootball.com/premie...6f997509bd04e8

Headline: "Spurs' Dutch star eyes exit"

    Only direct quotes:
So where do they get that headline from

I HOPE he stays. Could we also get Cisse instead of Ba,I'd much prefer it.

Wouldn't newcastle do an "Andy Carroll" on us with cisse? Or has he got a release clause too?

or alternatively, Sylvie could come over here and model/work?! - that'd be a far better option!!

tonnes and tonnes of rumours today about the Vertonghen medical which is supposedly happening today. so sick of this saga! i don't know how much more bullshit I can take. it's even worse already this year, and it's only may 31st!!

does anyone know anything about this Guy? we've already been linked to him and Sky (a slightly more reliable source) are suggesting this:

    http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11675/7787715/Toivonen-drops-move-hint

6"3 and supposedly will only cost about 7 mill. - is this our alternative for Ade, should a deal for him fall apart? or should we be going for him anyway as another striker with "presence". regardless, 7 mill for someone with his goal record (35/76) has got to be worth a punt?

I'd have thought Toivonen would be in addition to another striker now Saha's gone. We were linked to him last summer as well, I think.

When I saw we were having a £20mill raid on Wolves, I thought we'd be getting their first team squad. Seems way too much considering the article even says we're not all that interested in Fletcher. I'd have thought we'd finally sign Doyle if we're dealing with Wolves this summer.

my view on this is simple. if we're looking to progress, signing players who played for the club that finished rock bottom of the league, is not an option.

Doyle and Fletcher,no thanks,we might not be able to afford the likes of the Hulks of this world, but we can do better than those two.

Regardless of how their team did, they're still good players and would take up much needed backup positions in our squad. Parker was part of the West Ham side that went down and everyone will agree that he's been a great signing. I'm not saying it would directly translate to the Wolves players but if they were bargains I'd take any of Jarvis, Fletcher and Doyle but they're certainly not worth paying around £10mill each for.

I have mentioned doyle before. Can play on his own up top, strong and works tirelessly for 90 min. I dont think wolves are in a position to drive a hard bargain especially with levy <laugh>
