john like i said, things can change quickly in football, one minute a manager is the best thing since sliced bread the next no-one touches them with a bargepole...a big club want him and swansea get £4m, everyones a winner.....<ok>

but they're used to losing managers now, so at least they know the drill :)

I'm one of the few not knocking Rodgers on our board. We owe him so much imo. Can't wish him well because we're in a pickle but in reality that won't last as Jenkins always gets the right man. Gus Poyet for me - 2nd favourite behind Holloway in the betting. Or possibly Solskjaer (16/1).

Liverpool and Rodgers have both made a monumental error and this will end in tears, but that doesn't mean I blame the man for trying his hand at managing one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Hilts: 11th in the Prem doesn't suggest we're 'on borrowed time' my envious friend, even though you'd like to think so. <ok>

Any manager worth his salt wants to ply his trade at the highest level possible. If a club hire a manager with no ambition then that's the club at fault. We got Malky because he's ambitious as the Swans got Rodgers.
Agree with most here, it's a bit of a gamble by Liverpool and Rodgers but that's their decision, so good luck to the fella, he's gone to a club that wants success and they have got a like minded manager.

With Lambert quitting Norwich it looks like you guys are going to sucked into the merry go round, seems like Malky is one of the favourites for that job. John Hartson would never get a sniff at Swansea yet, but i'm sure he'd jump at the chance to manage Wales capital city, with Leighton James as director of football

I'd be more worried if Norwich come knocking for Malky than Swansea.

Oh well at least we can get DJ back if needs be, like i said in an earlier thread, The silly season starts as of the 1st of June, and you are better off not reading the press to much or worrying about what is going to happen with your club. Then come out of summer hibernation second week in August and see whats happened. Otherwise the whole circus will drive you round the bend.

Being reported Lambert's walked. Malky favourite to take over at the Canaries. Maybe you should start a thread about that rather than worry about us. We're now being linked to Bielsa from Atletico Bilbao. Happy days. :)
