Now that it's official that Brendan is leaving, maybe we can have a proper discussion about the next manager. I know it's a new thread but best to keep it separate so that we can discuss one thing.

So, who is your No. 1 choice and who don't you want?

Di Matteo could be available in a month or so. Hughton gets his teams playing some good attacking football and would be my choice if I were a Jack.

 

Pep Guardiola. Honestly, what has he achieved?? he's taken a super rich club to Euro glory. Now time to do it with a small team Championship Manager style.

Failing that Poyet, Di Matteo, someone young and hungry with a good footballing philosophy.

 

Di Matteo, Lee, Clarke, why not promote from within? Gary Monk anyone?

Don't worry about the terrible names. They throw everyone into the pot because some people will put money on them. Odds are all over the place though. May take a few days before we get an idea of front runners.

 

I like the idea of Di Matteo or Di Canio. Anyone who plays good football really.

Think Di Canio may be a bit of a hot head and throw his toys out of the pram too often.
