I think if Chelsea had a fit Benayoun they would just play completely differently and since he has been injured they have just been very workmanlike. No one in midfield can take anyone on and a bit like Liverpool the right back seems to be the only one willing to take people on. Having said that Chelsea aren't playing well but I still think they will win this game....they will need at least 3 goals without reply in teh second half to take to OT.
They do seem to have something in them, But it is just not coming out, the passing has been below standard for them.
Rofl, looks like you shoud have posted this on the Man Utd board because you've only got one replier so far hahaah!
What is this the official hoadi-boi match day commentary ? I suspect all fans will be watching the game so this is fecking pointless !
Once again Chelsea are done as a EUFA referee drops his pants & takes a huge please log in to view this image in the penalty area & says "that's what I think of your penalty claim" He wasn't called Ovrebo was he....
The pen last night was nailed on and probably a sending off too. What do we have to do to get a penalty in this comp? Barca, Inter, United; about 6-7 nailed on penalties over these 3 ties over the last 3 seasons and we've got nowt. What exactly is the job of the assistant behind the goal? He had the best view in the house. Cant see us winning at their place. Another year of disappointment. I'd almost welcome not being in it next year, cant stand it.
Patrice Evra foul on Ramires was just outside the area (on first contact), so it would have been a free kick and a sending off, not a penalty and sending off. But the tie is not over until JC cry's
Had another look and yes just slightly outside though going by Saturdays decision, it would have been a penalty!!
Sorry but do you actually watch football?? A free kick is given for a foul not just 'contact'. Even if contact was outside the box, it wasn't the first contact that would have drawn the free kick/pen it was evra's clumsy scissor kick around the legs which was inside. And to take the matter further, even if the first contact was a foul, it didn't bring ramires down so the ref could have been playing advantage which must stop when the move breaks down i.e when ramieres is on the deck after said scissor kick. Anyway you cut it, its a blatant pen. If it was outside, believe me the ref would have given a free kick. Fact is, he and his assistant bottled it becuase they knew it was the last minute and they would have had to send evra off too.
