Hi I am looking at getting into football coaching, taking my level one very soon. I was hoping that someone might know somewhere I can go just to help build up my experience. Thanks.
You will get plenty of help from East Riding FA they always have clubs looking for coaches and volunteers getting in touch with them. Is it junior or adult football ?
Not bothered what age group just want somewhere I can help out to build up experience more then anything.
Do you need to be.crb checked.to.coach kids? I don't know.the answer but would have thought you would have to be
If you get your CRB, alot of schools will be more than happy for you to get some experience with them to offer PE/after school clubs.
As part of your level 1 you get a CRB , safeguard working with children and first aid . I coach kids its very rewarding and a great way to spend your time. One thing with kids to remember is keep it simple if your doing a session on say dribbling stick to that throughout the session then watch the game at the end and see what they have picked up. Good luck
So I don't need to get a CRB check done then. That's ok saves abit of time sorting that out if it part on my level one. Yes I understand the idea of keeping is simple and similar, not to complicate it to much.
