Fabio On Loan?

Ferguson has said he's sending the youngster out to get 1st team experience. Now I'm not sure how great our relations with United are in terms of loans (we fairly shat on Rossi) and I don't even know if he'd be what we need...But much like our actions with Cisse, if one of our targets was a little too pricey, perhaps waiting for half or even a full season could be the better option and in that case, loan signings are perfect.

Personally I'd prefer to have our own players in our starting 11, it can sometimes do more for the parent club than it can for your own, but its certainly something to think about. Let's say we don't get our preferred targets, Fergie at LB would be good, but is he a 50+ games a season player?

 

Been heavily linked with a loan to Sporting or Benfica. I'm not sure Ferguson will want to do us any favours and couldn't see it happening to be honest. Not because of the Rossi thing because Pardew seems to get on well with him but I think they'll all take us a little less lightly this year. Be a great option to have. He's a cracking versatile player, he just has one of the worlds best left back in front of him.

 

Given uncertainity over whether we will get into Europe for the 13/14 season, loan signings could be a good way to bolster the ranks for next season whilst not increasing the wage bill considerably...

 

We did have Simpson on loan, as for loaning players to rival clubs in the same league - they allowed Veron to go to Chelsea!

Is the team big enough to have two Fabs?

 

Whoever takes him on loan is taking a risk. For us he has been exciting at times and solid at times too but whether he copes on a personal level without his twin by his side is a different question altogether, I doubt very much he will blossom on his own, I fully expect that loaning one of them out will end in failure.

Any issues at Arsenal apart from RVP staying?

 

They won't match next years position because of Chelsea.

 

I've been on here a lot, hence my activity bar being so full. I've just been on the Arsenal and F1 boards mostly.

 

I think we can make top 4 with ease, the next Chelsea manager has to deal with another inflated ego or two, so they'll have issues. Spurs are crap, and you're still 2-3 players short of a serious challenge.

 

Wouldn't say with ease but it could be comfortable if Tottenham lose key players.
