What is their stance on national associations not providing means of arbitration for their constituent clubs?
It means nothing as its the associations ruling that was dismissed by rangers and that is what FIFA will look at Rangers now need to be punished for the original crime and for going to the court And its over an embargo that means **** all anyway.....if anything the embargo helped rangers by stopping an avenue of debt for 1 year Deary deary me
Of course. It was the SFA's rules that denied Rangers the option of going to the Court of Arbitration.
That can't be right. Everyone has a right to take it to the CAS. That isn't exactly conclusive Tarquin.
I don't know. But I do know their stance on giving the World Cup to unworthy hosts in exchange for bribes
Tarquin I see that statement as two. 1. The 'SFA had not been explicit enough in recognising the Court of Arbitration for Sport' 2. The SFA 'rules stated an appeal decision was final, suggesting there was no other recourse for the club.' Suggesting mmmmm. The rules are final within the association and how far you can go with said association.
Yes. The Swiss FA hit Sion with a transfer embargo. A Swiss court said it wasn't legal. Sion signed players and played them (against Celtic no less.) The football authorities struck Sion with a 30 odd point deduction and they were relegated. Rangers fans seen all this happening last season.
What it means therefore is whatever alternative they determine that is in the rules then there is no appeal, so if they expel rangers, which is a punishment - one they considered- then rangers have no route of appeal
FIFA blanked a court decision in Switzerland, where they are based, and Rangers fans think they are going to **** a brick over a Scottish court.
