for me the top two next year as both clubs are certainly serious about improving there squads so maybe we might have a chance in nabbing a couple of players off them even if its just on loan.

I see Hazard is off to Chelsea and they have already brought in Marin, IMO they are going to be the team that pushes Man City all the way next season and if its true they are in negotiations for Hulk and reports linking them with Falcao while not forgetting they have just had a 32.2m bid turned down for Lucas they are seriously going to be strong next season. The champions league victory has certainly got Abramovic interested again.

As for Man City they will certainly improve and for me they have the best strike partnership in world football in Aguero in Tevez. All they need is to add 2 or 3players and they most certainly will.

Now to were we come in I wonder if we can grab a couple of players from these sides who will offer some quality to us. I see in todays papers it is saying about us inquiring for Johnson at City and his camp being open to the idea of a move to Sunderland. I am sure there will be other players at City being moved on this summer even if its just a loan, the likes of Savic and Guidetti might be loaned out to get game time and both would offer us something.

As for Chelsea we have already been linked with a loan move for Bertrand which would be fantastic but it also seems likely that Lukaku could off for a season to get to grips with the premier league and not forgetting Sturridge, With all these arrivals looking likely to happen at Chelsea in the attacking area's I wouldn't be surprised if Sturridge wants to move on n and if so we certainly should be interested.

Another player we should be looking at for a loan deal is Ryo Miyachi at Arsenal, the lad is class and was a stand out performer in the last couple of months at Bolton, we could do far worse than this lad for a season and according to reports he is faster than Walcott and pace is something we lack.

Permanent deals are what we should be looking at but we are allowed 2 loan signings from the premier league, if we could get in players of the quality of Savic, Bertrand or Miyachi they would certainly improve us allowing us to spend our money in other area's, that would help us kick on and if permanent deals are not an option this time next summer then we would be in a better position to go for a better caliber of player.

Savic is ****ing awful, but I'd take all of the rest!

The thought of Johnson & McLean down the channels gives me a boner like a Grand National winning stallion on Viagra, standing in front of a hot filly wearing horse hot pants.

    Ahem.

Why would players sign for Chelsea when they don't even have a manager?
    Oh wait. Money! Silly me.

Sorry but no more loan deals for me. I don't want our team to rely on loan deals again.

IMO I think MON will go for perm deals.

I like Sturridge, and reckon you could get him for about 7-10 million - but saying that I think other players offer more.
Also wages would be a problem for most teams like us. Will any of them want a wage cut? I doubt it.

The only player I would go for anyway is Johnson, I dislike the other players mentioned. Lakaku looks awful as well.

SUNDERLAND are hoping to engineer a loan deal for Manchester City starlet John Guidetti after scouting the striker extensively in the second half of last season.

Guidetti, who only turned 20 in April, spent last season on loan at Dutch side Feyenoord and rapidly established himself as one of the hottest properties in the European game.

He netted 20 goals in the Eredivisie, a tally that included three separate hat-tricks and resulted in him finishing the campaign as the fifth-highest goalscorer in Dutch football.

He has subsequently returned to Manchester City, but given the depth of attacking talent at Roberto Mancini's disposal, is unlikely to command a regular first-team spot at the Etihad Stadium next season.

City officials tied him down to a three-year deal last summer, and will be extremely reluctant to sell him on during the current transfer window.

However, another loan deal would potentially be of interest, and Sunderland are hoping to muscle their way to the front of a lengthening queue.

The Black Cats sent a senior scouting delegation to a number of Feyenoord's matches last season, and O'Neill visited Holland personally to run the rule over Guidetti's abilities.

He is understood to have been impressed by what he saw, and is hoping to persuade the Manchester City hierarchy to allow the Swedish youngster to remain in the Premier League.

Guidetti, who grew up in Kenya where his father was a teacher, made his full international debut for Sweden in February, but will not be involved in Euro 2012 after sustaining an infection following a thigh injury.

As a result, his future could be sorted out prior to the start of pre-season training, although Feyenoord technical director Martin van Geel recently revealed that Manchester City are still to decide what to do with arguably their most talented youngster.

Feyenoord are desperate to sign Guidetti for a second successive season, but Sunderland are privately hoping the forward pushes for an opportunity to prove himself in England, having made just five appearances for Burnley in a loan spell in 2010.

"I can't say more than I already have done," said van Geel. "Of course we want to keep John at Feyenoord for longer, but they (Manchester City) haven't made a decision about his future yet."

While Guidetti will not be involved at Euro 2012, four Sunderland players will be travelling to the tournament after the final squads were confirmed yesterday.

Chelsea have alot to live up to next season. After their disastrous first half to last season they somehow end up kings of Europe. Abramavich won't want anything other than success next year, but the managerial appointment will be the most difficult problem he will face.

Somehow I see an elder statesman being appointed.

I am a fan of loan deals, I know people say no no no but thats only because Bruce had 5 or 6 and that left us short that following summer.

Loan deals can fill the gap while you use ur money on other more important positions, which you can then improve after the season. For example Bertrand on loan from Chelsea would vastly improve us pace wise and also as an attacking outlet while in the meantime we can spend the money on front men which are desperately needed then once Bertrand's season loan ios over we either try to buy him or hes goes Back to Chelsea but either way we have had a year to scout another player or wait for another to become available and can spend a decent amount on a left-back as we only need to improve in this area instead of others.
