Travel and Tourism: event management. We basically had to plan, run and analyse our own school trip. Although, someone in my class has done over 80,000 words and 250 pages. He's crazy.

Yo best get a crack on then lol. If its a 30,000 word count is this kid not gonna fail for going way over? We were only ever allowed +/- 10% of our word count for assignments.

I do sympathise with you to a certain extent, however why on earth have you left everything to the last minute?
I've got three kids, work full time and on top of this I'm also in the final year of a social science degree; and to date, have never come close to missing a deadline for an assignment.
I'm not trying to be smug or anything, but just advising you to make an effort to get the hard work done early. I'm sure that leaving things to the last minute will not be helping with your marks either.

I am on course for a high 2:1 with the marks I have so far and leaving it till the last minute has become somewhat of a tradition. I am studying Sociology & Criminology, the Sociology part is boring me to ****! I love the Criminology side of things and have already done 3/4 of that assignment which is due for May, but Sociology bores me. I had done all the reading etc...and made an essay plan, it was just having the energy to write it!

Didn't realise you did that (for some reason I thought you did something business based) how's old Talcott Parsons doing these days? He's the only one I can remember from Alevel, what a lad!

Rarely see anything off him mate. Its all about the Russians. Funnily enough, my essay that I finished yesterday made reference to a quote from Wilson and Gutierrez!

I studied a criminology module which I didn't care too much for. My favourite module has actually been the sociology module which I found really interesting. I'm currenty studying a politics and economics module which is by far the most challenging that I have faced. I still have an outside chance of a first, but with the difficulty of this module, I think I will end up with a 2:1.
PS...Good luck with the rest of your studies...

However to add to that, the work I have just done a critical review on was written by Naser Meer, and if you type his name into Youtube, just listen to him talk for the first few seconds, he is my seminar tutor and lecturer, then you will see what I have to put up with!

You too mate, a first would be brilliant but I think it is a little bit out of my reach.
