http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18245752 read the story.. di canio abused the guy in front of his team mates... the guy complains.. the club blank him and di canio starts mouthing in the press about the guy's fitness....... now the sclub are back tracking.. YET where is the PFA in supporting the player? hmmmmmm
Taylor(if he says nothing about the incident)will surely be brought to book by the outraged 'black' players and 'black' community leaders that were out in force over Suarez/Evra. But dont hold your breath.
well If i were an england travelling fan i'd not go to ukraine cos right now i know precisely whats going to happen. their police are going to be on our backs and their fans will be allowed to do what they like, violence will ensue and england will get the blame. I think the very best thing that could happen is these guys riot before we play and there's too much scrutiny on them to have street violence etc. I just hope no idiots form here get over there for a good fight.
Do you think the PFA aren't getting involved because the player has returned to France and was never a PFA member?
So why is Terry being prosecuted for it? Didn't the video show him saying black ****' and he's been charged with a racial offence. I think you're the one wrong here mate.
He was a PFA member, the lad played for Orient and Swindon. That wouldn't have happened if he hadn't joined the players union. The FA's zero tolerance on racism and the PFA's outrage at Suarez appears to be a unique occurrence.
And once again why do you keep raising this topic and then moan when the press do? It does the club no favours.
Professional football is a closed shop in union terms. The longer your pretence goes on the worse you look redux.
Even if somehow this player wasn't, are their no other black players in the club. The PFA has a responsibility for the safety of players in their workplace & unlike Suarez (lets just assume guilt for this argument) Di Canio is in a position of power over the players. The situation demands more than any other that the players union speak out. It didn't, Neither has the media. We are allowed to speak out against hypocrisy. Either we were right & there was over hype & overkill in the Suarez incident & this is publicly acknowledged by the Media, FA & PFA OR We can at least expect equality of treatment for similar "offences". If we don't get it we have the right to complain Redux. It's not rehashing an old topic; it's questioning an ongoing one & this is necessary if we (that being ex black players, the media & fans) are going to openly criticise other countries on how they deal with the situation while treating it as nothing but the story of the moment in ours. Sitting quietly allows evil to be done on any side.
Taylor's anger only applies in player v player cases it seams. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18199681
My daughter who is three is currently sat wathching serena williams play tennis, she has just asked me if the darker girl is winning, trying to work out if she is racist
