    Oleeee ole ole olee,

    Guuuullyyyy Guuuullly.

Good solid win for the boys, Lallana's tight groin should be alright for Orient and was probably taken off to make sure. Shame about Dale just as he got his first start.

    COYS keep it up!!

In Nigel Adkins we trust! He has stated what he intended to do, and has gone out and done it so far. I think he will go on and become a real legend for the saints.

    Walk in the park.

How pathetic was Charlton's away support? Looked around 300 to me, for a game just 70 miles away. They do look like a club going nowhere.

I also understood that they were a revived team getting a bit of form together. On last nights display though did not think much of there footballing side at all. All they were trying to do was hoof ball and catch us on breakaways, relying on BWP speed. Which we countered pretty well. There would of course been a time when we would have fallen for this as it was clearly our achilles heel...not any more perhaps!!!! <ok>

Jaidi was superb. Won pretty much everything on ground and in the air and was reading those through balls/hoofs very well. His fitness has obviously improved if he's playing two games inside a few days too.

I enjoyed the match, and yes it was comfortable. Some of the one touch stuff was brilliant.
I could not believe how few Charlton supporters made the trip, I thought more like 200 than 300. Even it was 300, it's still one tenth of the numbers we sent to the valley. My Father in law is a Charlton fan and he is very gloomy at the moment!

Sorry to be a party pooper but I just CANNOT bring myself to sing the 'we are going up' songs yet , not that I beleieve it wont happen , because I think we will go up , but that It's way too early to sing it atm.

Good win anyway. Charlton were absolutely woeful , all they did is get it to Llera the number 5 and he hoofed it out of touch - on various occasions their pathetic allocation applauded it.

No way will they get promoted next season if they keep that side , not the fault of Chris Powell cause I thought he set-up his side to attack us but his players let him down massively.

We got tired and sloppy towards the end so didn't push on for the 3rd which is understandable after the amazing fightback v the Dons. Another comfortable 3 points and our home form is impeccable right now.

Agreed. I had a little cringe to myself when we started singing it randomly in the middle of the first-half when nothing in particular was happening on the pitch. It think it's more understandable at exciting points of the match i.e. after we've just scored a goal or at the end of the match (MK Dons for example), but other than that I don't want to sing it until it's confirmed. Maybe I'm just a little supersticious...

Yes, agreed. I mean I don't mind singing, "we're by far the greatest team, the world has ever seen", because I think there is a lot of irony in there, but we are going up? Well, we are......but keep it quiet for the moment, ok?

That's true so I don't mind singing it , we'd thrash Barca and Messi would get dicked by Jaidi.

Yes but Guys if you were in the FA cup and you scored a goal in the later stages of the competition that is exactly what you would be singing "We are going to Wembley" "now your starting/going to believe us" etc. It is no different with the league it is no difference at all. So don't take that away from them. I know it is counting chickens and the like but hey we have got a good chance haven't we? <ok> <party><party>

One of the joys of being a football supporter is the odd moment of hope. Hope springs eternal unless you are a Saints fan and to be honest if we are singing "we are going up" then at least we are singing. The more we sing the better the players respond so for me let us keep it going. All we are doing is cheering on the lads on the pitch and they will hear and enjoy the support.
