Excellent, will be a great experience for him. Now let's hope none of our players get injured!

And you think ROI are going to get out of their group with Italy, Spain, Croatia in it, I can see 0 points for them im afraid.

I think England will get out of their group, but finish 2nd, but we will get through.

There are going to be a few big teams go out at the group stage, esp from group B Denmark/Germany/Holland/Portugal 1 there definate.

I actually think Ireland will be the surprise team at the Euros.

Germany and Holland will breeze through that group, Portugal are crap now and so are Denmark, wouldn't call either of them last two a big team in this tournament.

Well I think they will fail miserably, but you never know.

Its just grinds my gears when it seems fans support another nation just because some of their club teams players are in it, rather than their home nation, pisses me off a bit, If our whole 1st team was Welsh and they were all in the 1st team of Wales, I still wouldnt support them, It would not even cross my mind.

Tremors from an earthquake in northern Italy have been felt in the town where the Republic of Ireland football squad is based ahead of Euro 2012.

At least 10 people have been killed and several others buried under rubble in the neighbouring Emilia Romagnon area.

Tuesday's tremor was estimated at 5.8 magnitude and was centred near Modena in the Emilia region, where a quake 10 days ago killed seven people.

The Republic are currently based in the town of Montecatini in Tuscany.
