Team for Sunday- What would your team be?

    For me even though Shola scored on saturday I think he should be dropped. He only seems to play well at st james so I think he may be a decent impact sub incase we need a different game plan. The most important selection Pardew has to get right is the Midfield, IMO he has to pick the strongest midfield (Pretty Obvious) and forget about the bench. Villa have good players and will by no means a push over so this would be my lineup:

    Harper
    Simpson Colo Williamson Enrique
    Gutierrez Barton Guthrie Ferguson
    Ranger Lovenkrands

    My prediction - 1-3

    Ameobi instead of Lovenkrands. If Ameobi is ineffective away from home, then what's Lovenkrands described as? For me Ranger must start as he will give Dunne a torrid time with his pace!

    Sadly not. We all know Pardew will drop Ferguson for Enrique and instead of doing the sensible thing and putting Ferguson left mid, Jonas right mid. He will put Raylor right mid and Jonas left mid.

    Also he didn't drop Lovenkrands when he was playing awful, so now when he actually did something in the last game, he will start again.

    I can't be doing with Raylor he's awful. I want to see Ferguson more advanced and also see how Jonas performs on the right. It would be interesting to see how good he is on his stronger foot more often!

    Why not give him a run on the left I was a fan of Raylor but after his stupid sending off he doesnt deserve another chance

    He did alright last time... before he got sent off. Jonas has been a beast on the left in the last few months, there's no point unsettling him by playing him out of position. Our left flank is one of the strongest in the league, we should leave it alone.
