A few reminders of our past at the Gate and a glance into our future at Ashton Vale.....Out with the old at AG and into the new at AV..

Will it ever happen,we live on and hope but we've still got our memories..

I think everyone is sick and tired of the shambles that is (or in this case isn't) the new stadium Wiz

It does make you seriously wonder whether the club themselves, and SL in particular have the appetite to keep fighting for the cause, when all people want to do is throw obstacles in the way of what would be good for the City in general

The NIMBYS are a ****ing nuisance. I could understand if there was no football club already in the area and even more so if there was no giant Sainsburys, but both are already there, and both want to move to locations a very short distance away.

    So looking at the objections.....

There is already a football club - get used to it or **** off and move elsewhere

There is already a Sainsburys - if you dont like their produce, **** off and shop elsewhere

People have nowhere to walk their dogs - yes you do, you've been offered a Village Green for them to piss and crap on as part of the development, not that anyone will ever use it, they just like being a pain in the tit

It will affect trade on North St - No it won't, the existing arrangements don't so why on earth would this ?

    What it would do is
Bring both permanent and temporary jobs in construction, retail, hospitality, and other trades to the area
Ensure that BCFC can progress rather than having to redevelop Ashton Gate
Put the City on the map rather than being this inward looking bloody backwater where nothing of general use ever gets done, because of idiots and the red tape that allows the ****ers to get away with it.

    Rant over....for now !
