    More Sad News in Boxing.

Paul Williams has suffered a serious motorcycle crash that has left him paralyzed.

Paul Williams was always looking for that big money fight he deserved and when it came along this tragic incident happed.

He didn't lead a flash lifestyle and invested his money wisely for life after boxing.
Seemed like a genuine nice guy, worked hard for the money he got in boxing and took on all challenges.

Hope he has what it takes to overcome his biggest challenge to date.

Wishing the Punisher well and hopes he makes a full recovery, not for boxing's sake but for his life after boxing.

Unfortunately, his spinal cord was severed in the accident and he has been told he will never walk again.

Williams ever the optimist is in good spirits and has said he plans to work on his stand up routine.

This news is just so very sad...!!

He would've provided a stern test for young Alvarez.

also just read this news, and sad to hear it. Watched his fight in the Mandalay Bay - Las Vegas where he ruined Ronald 'winky' Wright over 12 rounds. He had a bad knockout against Martinez - and not seen him fight since - although he has apparently fought once since.

As others have said - good luck in his battle.
