    From flop to super sub.

Having come off the bench to score in extra time on Wednesday and win three vital points in the promotion race, Spanish superstar Xisco did it again on Sunday - sealing Deportivo La Coruna's return to the top flight.

His third goal in fourteen games this season came just four minutes after arriving as a 66th minute substitute at home to Huesca, with the scores tied at 1-1.

Xisco's winner came from a right wing cross, with the ball seemingly hitting him in the face as he attacked the six yard box. He'd failed to connect with a similar opportunity just moments earlier, with the goal at his mercy.

It remains to be seen whether any agreement can be reached over the summer to end Xisco's time as a Magpie - with his contract finally expiring in June 2013.

    From NUFC.com

Maybe we'll get a return on him at last.

Now there's a thought JWAG, what fun if players were covered by something like the 'Sale of Goods Act', they'd be returned for not meeting, 'Fitness for Purpose' and
Satisfactory Quality', or in the case of Keiron Dyer, 'Broken'. :emoticon-0112-wonde:

Dyer would've been returned more times than an MPs expenses claim! Would we be on dodgy ground trying to return Michael Owen on the grounds of being a twat?

Hopefully, Liverpool will have noticed and will put in abid of at least £40m - after all, they have always liked super-subs and Toon players, so to have both rolled into one would be a dream come true (and a bargain at £40m).
