So there have been rumours that we will be after him in the summer , when his loan spell at Real Madrid ends. He says he is keen to return to the Premier League and it is assumed we are favourites.

I think he's a great player and a good finisher although I'm not too keen about his personality. And also , let's not forget he's on a massive 150,000 a week at Citeh and I assume he would have to take a massive pay cut.

This is the link to the article.

Just the media speaking out of their arse...
Sure he's got talent but it would be a personality who would split up te dressing room.

He'll have another few years in Spain and then return back to England but I doubt seriously it will be with Newcastle.

I dont think we are targeting him, nor would he play for us, especially not before he has played in Spain for a few years. Good player though, and if it turned out to be true I'd be happy to sign him within our wage structure.

Wage cap - no chance he'll settle for 50k p/w, he's got bare tings to buy

I've said no. He doesn't fit our current model. His wage demands would be too high and he is too much of a primadona.

he wont sign for us, he aint gonna lose 100k a week. and tbh i think he only joins a club thats gonna pay him stupid wages, thats why he left arsenal for the money nothing more, he has talent but he as a person comes across as a merceniary only in it for himself
