No agree it is not Wummery, as for honesty, hmmmm I think that it is honesty as you see it. You are right we did "used to laugh at them" because we were the better bigger club I suppose. However it brings it home does it not when your team are in the same boat. Perhaps the lesson there is that we should be a bit more gracious when we obviously do have an advantage and not look down our noses at others. I am not aware of any BS, but would agree we need to get out of this league. as I have said in another post we are playing the likes of Bournemouth & Brighton because they are in the same league as us....simples
Couldn't agree more, we deserve to be League 1 for various reasons and hopefully on and off the pitch those reasons aren't there anymore so we can start to climb the leagues again. Although being in League 1 has given me the chance to visit grounds that I wouldn't have even thought about visiting a few years ago. That's not meant as arrogant as i've thoroughly enjoyed my away tripos to the likes of Yeovil, Exeter and Walsall with Brentford and Plymouth still to come! My first post so please be kind!! COYRS!!
Hey welcome Kingsland block 37.......to the Saints site. We look forward to your contribution. Nothing to be unkind about chum not a bad post....especially as you agreed with me..... Any problems or questions just pm either KingslandSFC or myself and we will do our best to help. Just remember to tell your friends about the site. It doesn't matter who they support all are welcome and are catered for.
Welcome Kingsland Block 37 Great to see more joining!! As Beddytare has said ... We are only a click away if u have any problems
oooooooooooooo who's a lucky fella then...... you were not doing a touch of "I'm alright Jack stuff you" Were you? DTLW I am truly surprised at you, not like you to rub it in is it.......you had a bad day..... I suppose all season ticket holders are in the same boat at a guess..........Perhaps a little charity for those yet to get a ticket or even more for those that can't afford them........
Moaning about tickets? TBH , I actually couldn't give a ****e. I'll be there along with 30,000 other Saints fans who want the same thing as me - first come first serve and rightly so.
Yes BeddyTare, exactly that. I can be glad that I am going, and will be going to Brentford Away too, wherever we find ourselves, let's all rally behind the Saints for these last 8.
Glad i'll be there too. Hoping that May 7th will be a very big party and that as many jump on the bus asap!! Together as one
I too would love to get out of this league, but I don't agree with disrespect to the other teams in the same league as us. Their fans are not plastic. If they support teams that have had very little real success, they are great football fans. We have had a bad time recently but at least we had some good times in the past and, probably, the future. I would never hope any team would go out of business because I can empathise with how they would feel.
To be honest I can't see why there would be any moaning about tickets the games a month away and I would still argue that we are not going to have a full house even if it is the last match of the season that makes a difference. So I don't particularly think that there is any panic on that score. I have to admit that it would be very unfortunate that a regular attender would be over looked for a glory hunter. All clubs have got those I'm afraid and it is part of life little nasties so to speak.
Sure it's not going to be a sell out. We only manage that for Pompey. If they close the gap between home and away fans there will be plenty of room.
