Trouble is every new race track is built by the same man, Tilke. The all have a twisty bit and a huge straight and no fast corners because they are too dangerous.

Tracks like Monaco or Spa would be illegal if they were new tracks, Spa because its too hilly and thats precisely what makes it exciting.

I dislike Tilke's creations(or abominations) for years now. Malaysia is a good track. But everything he has designed ever since are utter crap.
Bahrain China and Abu Dabi are shaite, whilst Singapore, as a streetcircuit i really enjoy.

Why just not for fun try this track again: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pescara_Circuit

    Or this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circuit_Charade

Turkey turn 8 is about the only decent thing hes done.
I hate the featureless car parks with 50 yard run offs, he butchered the unique Hockenheim track.

Who cares about us though, Bernies raking in the money from the middle east with curcuit grandstands 90% empty.

<laugh> I've actually done pretty well today mate. I've just been pulling together eveyones feelings and emotions when Cisse scored against Stoke. It has been a great experience, almost like being there again. However the final piece turns out, I've had a good time writing it!

As a massive Hamilton fan, this season is becoming as frustrating as last season was as a rangers fan! He's been the best (most consistent driver) out there, but has been punished by his own team on too many occasions. Alas. I'm glad that I learnt to deal with disappointment early on in life ;)

I support all the Brit drivers and since he's been around Hamilton in particular. Great lust for a race Lewis but between his own misadventure, inadequate cars, pit crew ****-ups and ill-calculated race strategies, the forces acting against his natural talents make too many race days frustrating affairs for Lewis fans.

Doesn't happen to Vettel or Red Bull does it (he says bitterly!)?

Lewis did himself no favors last year, but this year he has driven well, everything else seems to be failing. McLaren don't look right somehow. I like Hamilton and Button to do well, but Kimi is my favourite driver. Has a touch of Mansell's bloody mindedness about him and likes a pint.

    'Duty to Caterham'

In response to SB73's comments re. Caterham, we should really (as Rs) be giving more (armchair) support to TF's team. My conscience keeps pricking me on this and I excuse my indifference to date on the lack of info on progress both behind the scenes and in races.

Perhaps we should have a thread on here devoted to Caterham Cars whenever F1 comes around. This could help pool our understandings and appreciation of CC's struggle to get amongst the F1 elite.

    Your thoughts?

    COYCCCaterham?????!!!!!!!

    Thirded!
To be honest I find it pretty hard to get myself excited about Caterham F1, but I will endevour to try harder!. We need something to keep us talking during the lean off season. <ok>

How about making a Caterham sticky thread for the summer? We could tweet uncle Tony and let him know. He'll be proud.
