It's really frustrating reading comments by Pompey fans (mainly on The Snooze website) whinging whenever we are linked with a player, because we are "under a transfer embargo".

Now, PLEASE correct me if I am wrong, but although we are indeed under an embargo, we are able to bring a player when a player has left the club?

As it stands (as far as I am aware), we would be able to bring in 5 players once Ward leaves, subject to approval from the football league.

    Correct Jake - 1 out 1 in.

Funny lot on the snooze site - they do love to argue.

Maybe the club should play the Hockey Pokey over the public address system as the teams run out onto the pitch next season <whistle>

You put Matt Gledhill in, you take David James out.
    Webster in, Distin out.
Crouch out, in out, out out out.
You do the Hallo Balu and you run aground.
And was that all what it was about?

Or the bit where he listens to Hitler's speeches, on the wrong speed on his record player.

I heard it's been agreed, and that he is discussing personal terms with Southampton <ok>

It's a little higher than I expected, but most likely well within the budget.

Not a bad signing for them, BUT I would personally have gone for his strike partner Charlie Austin - he is an awesome striker.

I think I'm right in saying we've had more outs than ins this month so we should be in 'credit' as far as singings are concerned.

Note to Mr Appleton. We need a goalkeeper - he's the one that wears a different colour shirt to the rest of the team and usually has a number 1 on the back <ok>
