I can see your point, but how many teams play with two big men up front now? Could it work now? in princile probably not, but that's just why it may just work, for a while....the unexpected.
Not for me. I would much prefer Grant Holt - personally he would offer more to the team, and a better foil for another striker. 17 goals is good for a relegated team though. But when he played for Everton he hardly set the scoring charts a light.
Im sorry but Yakubu has done the business in the premier league multiple times, Grant Holt has had one good year. There's no argument for Holt being better. he scored 15 league goals in his first season at Everton
