Not seeing it. Grosjean is forced left by Alonso, but Schumi is too commited to get out of it (he's nearly completelty level with Romain)
It was still a pretty irrelevant part of the race though, the damage was done in quali and the first corner.
we are talking about this incident aren't we?
Best Driver: Webber by default Worst Driver: Maldonado by some margin Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Vergne. It's a shame that it was by default, because he did an extremely good job. Best Team: Mercedes Worst Team: Williams Best overtake: I'm going Kovalainen on Button, purely because that is the closest the race came to being entertaining. Funniest-moment: Mark Webber's lack of excitement about winning the race. Most Surprising Result: Schumacher nil points Least Surprising Result: Maldonado proving Jerez was a total fluke in a perfect car Special Mention to: Kovalainen for at least trying to keep us entertained. Perez too, although he didn't have a particularly good race. Race Rating: 3/10 Best Commentator overall: Lewis Hamilton: his team radio described 90% of the race's excitement. I sing Ben Edwards' praises most of the time, but I thought he did a mediocre job today.
I suppose the crashes were Schumachers and Buttons fault respectively simply for trying to overtake on this joke of a 'race' circuit were doing so is virtually impossible. Despite my enjoyment of seeing Schumacher crash yards after the start line I can't really blame him for the accident, I blame the FIA for authorising a race there.
Best Driver: Webber by default Worst Driver: Grosjean - That start was more British Touring Car than F1. Right "smash" left "Smash" spin.... Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Vergne. Best Team: Ferrari Worst Team: Williams Best overtake: Did anyone over take anyone other than Perez barging past a couple of people? Funniest-moment: Mark Webber's lack of excitement about winning the race. (agreed with previous poster) Most Surprising Result: That I bothered to watch until the bitter end. Least Surprising Result: McLaren f**king up strategy and pit-stops again, and looking totally clueless. Special Mention to: Massa, for looking like there is some life in him after all and Perez for givign us a glimpse of some excitement. Race Rating: 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001/10 (because it happened, I have to acknowledge its existence I suppose) Best Commentator overall: Crofty was better than usual this time around. Interesting to see how ignorant people are to the bigger race picture on here. At least I can console myself in knowing that I haven't paid SKY through the nose for this increasingly random and pointless F1 season. Clue: The lottery has a different winner every weekend.
Best Driver: Mark Webber. Worst Driver: Button/Maldonado. Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Vergne Grosjean-(What a fool). Best Team: Ferrari. Worst Team: Williams. Best (imaginary)Overtake: pfft. Funniest-moment: Kobayashi in the air. Most Surprising Result: Vettel getting the jump. Least Surprising Result: Schumacher Technical Issue. (Test mule for Mercedes). Special Mention to: Alonso/Webber. Race Rating: 4/10 Best Commentator overall: The guy next to Coulthard.
Best Driver: Very tough one as the top 6 were pretty much faultless (I dont class a lock up as a mistake, unless it takes them off the track), even Massa for a change. This one has to go to Webber for keeping his cool in the last 10 laps or so Worst Driver:Button - absoultely awful drive today, and for some reason he decided to blame it on Kovalainen? Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Vergne - only one that finished, but nearly didnt thanks to his team Best Team: Ferrari - annoyingly, they've done very well this weekend to catch up, their pit stops were near perfect, and for once they let their drivers race Worst Team: Toro Rosso - that terrible call to bring Vergne in for inters. Either them or HRT Best (imaginary)Overtake:Does Alosno getting past Grosjean on the start straight count, cause there wasnt any Funniest-moment: Maldonado's pathetic excuse for barging into Perez Most Surprising Result: Both Force India's in the top 10, big shout out to them Least Surprising Result: Schumacher having car problems, but also making contact with another driver Special Mention to: Kovalainen - great drive to keep a much faster Mclaren behind, even with a broken front wing that he didnt cause. Very defensive and fair driving, deserved to have got Caterham's first point Race Rating: 5/10 Best Commentator overall: Anyone at the BBC
Best Driver: Alonso Worst Driver: Maldonado - poor poor poor Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Does Perez count? if not Vergne Best Team: Red Bull Worst Team: Williams - Fallen from grace Best (imaginary)Overtake: Perez scaring people out the way Funniest-moment: Lewis and Jenson doing the presenter job in the pre show. It was hillarious!! Most Surprising Result: Scumacher Pole Least Surprising Result: Webber Win Special Mention to: Massa, Scumacher and Senna putting in good performances under pressure Race Rating: 5/10 Best Commentator overall: Gary Anderson
yes I enjoyed seeing the overrated cheating hack finish this race in the first 10 yards, just as I enjoyed seeing Manchester 'bought our success with foreign money' United get beaten to the league in the final seconds. I always enjoy watching people who have gained unfair and unwarranted advantages for years in their sports get humbled. A bit of Karma never goes amiss
â¢Best Driver: M Webber â¢Worst Driver: J Button â¢Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): I may be the first person this year to vote for Pic. Was miles ahead of his teammate before an electrical problem I think? â¢Best Team: Ferrari â¢Worst Team: STR â¢Best (imaginary)Overtake: Who in the what now? â¢Funniest-moment: Croft's similes getting worse and worse. â¢Most Surprising Result: Webber didn't lose places off the line. â¢Least Surprising Result: Alonso â¢Special Mention to: F Massa, N Rosberg, Force India. â¢Race Rating: 5/10
Actually Man united were a nothing club during the 80's, and whored themselves around looking for outside finance, who could forget Micheal Knighton doing keepie ups in front of the 'old trafford faithful' Then they approach a succession of other financiers settling on 2 foreign race horse owners amongst others. Using money not earned anywhere near a football pitch they went about spending more money than had ever been seen in British football before finally buying the title in 92-93 season after a gap of 26 years. For me the only team 'worthy' to be in the top 4 that currently is is your team, as you're the only ones who are were they are through what you've done on football pitches.
Prove where and when Schumacher has had an unfair advantage, just prove it. You are one of many people that like to fantasise over a FIA + Schumacher bond, when the truth was he destroyed that pack in his era because he had the talent to do so. Bridgestone advantage? yeah I enjoyed the fact he used a tyre advantage in qualifying this weekend, because it shows he is the over-rated driver he always was. Shut-up you vile fool.
