With Danns, Wellens, Drinkwater, King and James we need to get rid of some before we sign more. With the Nicky Shorey story it says Nigel needs to sell before he can bring him in. Wellens is going to be hard to shift now with his injury and the rest all have a future here Maybe Nigel wont sign anyone else until he gets rid. Although some of rumoured to be leaving or are very likely to leave we have alot of players in every position. Matt Mills is still here and Ritchie De Laet has signed. Jermaine Beckford is still here and we have signed Jamie Vardy.[/QUOTE] Hopefully won't see much of king his season
We played **** with Pearson, Barmby beat his record of 11th place, anyway good luck with the upcoming season, you'll probaly get promoted, still I think you overpaid again for Vardy and James/De Laet
Not sure with vardy, good luck to him but you do wonder why nobody came in for him earlier? James and de laet are for the future - seems np wants the big earners off the books eventually
James and De Laet are decent players for the future, but neither are better than Evans or Chester, we paid 300k for Chester and 500k for Evans, 800k for two players better than two players purchased for 2M is why working on a budget at Hull City pays off rather than splashing the cash on similar but not as good versions at big spending clubs
Evans is crap The Man U fans reckon if it wasn't for injuries Matty James might of made the grade there. De Laet is a right back anyway
Nigel, and you should know, never speaks about any transfer target to the media - it causes mass frustration amongst some of our fans. If anything, it was Adam Pearson who went and spoke out to the media after we bid for Stewart rather than Nigel. He is entitled to bid for any Hull City players if he wants to.
We are allowed to bid for any player we choose just like any other club. You can reject any bid you you want, you are well with in your rights But crying that we bidding for your players is pathetic. Reject the bid and either tell us to up it or hes not for sale and move on.
Erm, that's what our owners have told you numerous times, none of our best players are up for sale, especially to you, I think it is so many bids from one club after being told no, that you can take legal action for harassment, it's happened a couple of times in football were one club has bidded for one specific play about 7 times, in the end the club were fined for harassment
Taylor, you are by some way the most welcome visitor to this board from the Hull side, but I have to say even you are coming across as moaning now - In truth none of us knows what's been bid for whom and what's likely to be accepted
Ok, fair enough, I don't know who your interested in or who were interested in, all I know is that the Allams have publicly stated that none of our players are for sale, apparently we've declined bids from you for Koren, Chester and Stewart, the Allams may sell them if the "right" bid comes in, but the "right" bid may be to ridiculous for Leicester to waste, you don't want another Mills/Beckford fiasco, stick to the sensible signings and you'll probaly gain promotion, like Reading and Southampton, they had plenty of cash but spent it wisely unlike West Ham and unfortunately Sven
Pearson chose to go to Leicester for the money, non of the players want to leave beause they are doing well at the club
At the end of the days clubs will sell to anyone aslong as the bid is good. Reading didnt want to sell Matt Mills to us but we made them an offer they couldnt refuse
But this attitude we wont talk to Leicester because they tool our manager is childish Im glad Milan and Top had more dignity and professionalism when Hull took Pearson.
No it doesnt. But then on the flip side you arent going to be able to sign Lionel Messi with sensible offers are you?
