    While he had his failings at Leeds, Grayson overall did a good job for us and I am happy for him. Not happy for their 'orrible followers though!

    Looking at it purely from a footballing perspective this is a bad result for Leeds. Huddersfield already look a decent side, and with money to spend I can see them being a real force in the Championship next season. Grayson will no doubt feel he has a point to prove, showing Bates that when he's backed with decent money in the transfer market he can actually achieve a play-off spot at the very least.
    I can definitely see Grayson coming in with a bid for Adam Clayton, and that bid being accepted, the final kick in the teeth for the fans, and the ultimate humiliation for Leeds United.

    Well Done Larry!
    Proved dickhead Bates wrong in sacking you.
    You have a better track record now to throw at the old git! 3 Promotions, pity your 3rd one wasnt for us.
    Hope you are welcomed back to Elland Road by the fans with the same dignity you showed when you were sacked.

    Always said he'd do it.

    Three jobs, three successes: one Simon Grayson.

    Three League One promotions.

    It was so close though. He took over a club that then stuttered really badly and fell away. He had to win the promotion or be sacked and forever have to put up with really screwing things up there. Was it really a good idea for them to sack Lee Clarke?

    But well done to Simon Grayson. He now gets the chance to prove whether The Championship really is too much for him, or being in The Championship with some money behind him proves his worth. And he gets to go up against us.

    And they will be really pumped to play us. And how will our guys react: scared, like rabbits, or up for it, like lions?

    <ok>

    Under varyingly difficult circumstances, assembling the core of the squad that got Blackpool into the Premiership, getting us within touching distance off the playoffs twice under the worst chairman in English football, and steering another manager's squad at Huddersfield to promotion at Wembley against a much bigger club

    Yes. Grayson has playoff-winning experience and a good record in the Championship, Clark has playoff-bottling experience and a history of average performances in League One, although he's still a good manager in my eyes.

    Scared like rabbits, obviously! If Huddersfield aren't pushing for the playoffs next season, I'll be quite surprised. Sensible amounts of money being spent, core of a good team, good manager, fans relatively united, few derby games next season which they always seem to edge with their plucky terrier small-club thing they have going on. Good on them.

    Its a horrible thought, but if we don't get our act together I could easily see them finish above us next season
