No offence meant.... I loves my boxing but have found there is a great thread under the Boxing forum. Trust me, cross sport threads go down like a lead balloon (check out my previous attempts!!). D5/ Rebel et al need you (thats if you do really like your boxing!)

PS Froch was amazing tonight, but they are still all pretenders to Joe's crown!

No worries, they can go down like a lead balloon mate, really not bothered. People reply or they don't.

Agree, Calzaghe would have beaten all of this lot. Hands too quick for Froch, movement superior also....and he had a great chin. I think it would have gone the distance with Froch looking a mess at the end of it.

Andre Ward would have been more interesting, but believe he is over rated after that Froch victory (Froch didn't look right and was particularly sluggish that night). Calzaghe would have come out on top though, I believe.

Thing is, Joe took it as far as he could go and got out at the right time before he got beat....was definitely slowing up at the end there.

A boxer will always get beat if they keep going long enough. Hence Joe's '0' is nothing to be underestimated. It's only now people are seeing the real Kessler, it's taken him that long to get back his confidence (his KO against Green was reminiscent of Jackson v Graham). Anyways ..... before we get the whinges ..... feel free to click on Forum and go to boxing. Theres some good eggs on there, no WUMS and the more the merrier.

Great performance by Froch but I hope that he's not going to shoot his mouth off again about Joe dodging him. He was never in Joe's class and Joe, at the end of his great career, had nothing to gain by fighting him.

Exactly, Froch is still nowhere near Joe in terms of technique and hand speed and he would get murdered over 12 rounds if Joe fought him tomorrow !!

The only reason Joe hasnt had the fullest of credit for what he has done in boxing is partly because he is welsh, make no mistake though he is one of the greatest Boxers of all time. <ok>

Joe got out at the right time...At the top, it would only be a matter of time before a young pretender will come along and beat joe. great ambassador to boxing and wales...

Knew it!!! Froch just can't keep his big gob shut. Now he reckons that he's eclipsed Benn, Eubank and Calzaghe saying that his record is better than theirs. Dream on, son. Benn would have flattened you; Eubank been far too crafty and Joe would have cut you to pieces with a thousand punches. Some people!

Just jealous cos he has never earned nowhere near the money the others had (simply because they were better!).... CF is doing his best Bonnie Langford "I'll sqweem and sqweem and sqweem!". What a numpty.
