Bute just proved to me what i thought he was, a over-rated bum, only half decent fighter he'd been in the ring with before tonight was Johnson and he would of lost that if wasn't for the ref. Excellent display by Froch, don't know where he goes from here as still can't see him beating Ward but excellent nonetheless. Well done Carl !!!!!!
That was some show. Bute won't make a big deal of it, but he diid have an infection. I don't think it made much of a difference tbh. That is the difference in looking good at one level and nowhere near as good at elite level. Begs the question who can get anywhjere near Ward? He;s fighting Dawson soon. Bute can't want/expect a return after that showing and that was where I saw this going regardless of result....just not that one
His 42 lol and I must be getting mixed up with one of his fights then, who was it that Bute fought and was lucky the ref delayed giving him the 10 count in the final round otherwise he would of been counted out?
andrade. Bute did a better job on Johnson that Froch did. That made this more surprising to me. Huge hand for Rob McCracken.
