Anyone gone any experience with disappearing goldfish? We had 4 in our fish tank (2 big ones and 2 little ones) and one of the little ones has disappeared <yikes>

One Spirit ran a stunner there on debut for Ger Lyons after moving from Frank Dunne. Followed her last year and now she's moved stable I'll be following her again

That's what I thought Zen - cannibal fish. The little lady managed to swim into the small hole at the bottom of the air pump - fished her out but she is looking decidedly unwell. All 3 kids crying. ****ing marvellous <doh>

It very much depends on what you want to ignore when assessing the Irish 2000 Guineas:

The two runners that were in the English 2000 Guineas shake-up did nothing for the form and there can be no excuses about being on the wrong side of the track round the bend at The Curragh.

The Ballydoyle contender that ran abysmally at Newmarket, Power, proved that was not his running in weaving through the field to beat two outsiders late on.

Presumably from the way that the race was run, the plan had been to try and make the most of Daddy Long Legs stamina and he made sure the race was not a crawl and he did creditably over what may be an inadequate trip now.

All in all, this does not make this year’s milers look like any threat to the best miler on the planet.

I'm actually looking forward to it for once. Bugger all false expectations (a bit like supporting Watford) and hopefully we can sit back and enjoy the ride for once. Some good performances would help though (very much not like supporting Watford then) - starting with tonight.

I see the play off final is still goalless. Would like to see Huddersfield win as I've had some cracking away trips up there.

Hoping for a morale booster before the EC, even though my expectations for that tournament are pretty low. Maybe, just maybe though, this will be the tournament where England do well cos nobody is expecting anything. Eternal optimist me <laugh>

Fish is clinging on Dex - not sure if she's just a bit stunned or has some damage. Kids clamed down though <ok>
