RHS at Chelsea - BBC2, Sebastian Bergman, a new Swedish drama on BBC4, Craig Charles on 6. There's always good listening on Radio 4 and World Service or if you like Tamla, Philly, Ray Charles then Andy Peebles's Soul Train on Smooth!! As for Eurovison its a good farce if one likes that kind of thing. Whatever your choice just enjoy!

Thanks for the reminder about Sebastian Bergman....love a good Scandinavian subtitled crime drama. Need something now the Bridge has finished, though am enjoying the American version of The Killing (though sometimes subtitles would be useful on that as well!).

Just listened to Engelbert's song out of curiosity. Not overimpressed with song, but was impressed by the power he still has in his voice.

Netherlands :p. According to Scott Mills (and the woman he was commentating with whose name I can't remember), the song was about a boy who the singer used to play Cowboys & Indians with when she was a kid, hence the Indian headdress. I'm not sure if they were being serious or joking, but makes sense. Disappointed it didn't get to the final though. Think I remember the native language debate, although this year quite a few seem to be in their own native language.

A couple of my favourite Eurovision songs:

    Neither for me.

The voting on Eurovision has nothing whatsoever to do with the songs. The Eastern Bloc countries will all give each other high scores. Cyprus and Greece will give each other 10 and null points to Turkey and every one hates the British so we will come last.

International friendlies these days, where both sides use about 40 substitutes are a farce and should be treated as a training session and played behind closed doors.

If they charge proper prices for friendlies, the game should be played properly. Too many substitutes ruin the game and devalue international caps.

People say we never get any votes because we are hated in Europe, but could it just be that our songs are rubbish? I mean, last year we had Blue who were pretty rubbish (in the music video the song sounded okay, live not so much) and the year before that we had that cheesy 80s Pete Waterman one (or whoever it was). In 2009 we actually did okay (top ten I think, maybe even higher) although I didn't particularly like the song.

    Also I absolutely love this....

Nah, this is too easy. Why don't we make it bit more difficult a decision. I don't know, what about, "would you rather watch Eurovision or have 3 hours of root-canal work without an anaesthetic?"

Don't rush me. I'm thinking about it...................

Let's bias it a bit... If you're not convinced at the start, you can bypass Terry and cut to 6m20s...

Lord Of The Rings II - The Two Towers is looking good. I'd rather have root canal treatment than watch Eurovision.

Probably end up switching over to see how England are doing though. I envisage a nightmare scenario whereby we win 3-0, and false hope begins to gather pace...

I do enjoy seeing which countries are all chummy this year, and which, if any, don't hate us.

However, I will be watching the football like a real man.

Be great to be in the Euros without expectation. The world is full of countries without expectations of winning the European or World Cups, but they manage to get excited and enjoy themselves. I think we'll do no worse than we usually do.

Scrape through the group phase and get beaten by the Germans in the quarters then. Is that actually a genuine option?

Dieting always difficult when you get older...you can save your face or your body, but no both. Still wish I looked like her though.

Nope...we can't play Germany until the semis. So that's a long shot.

Spain or Italy in the quarters probably, unless Ireland or Croatia upset the odds.
