Along with the departure of David Amoo, I'm not too surprised by this one. Great player, ruined by injuries. Was back-up to Enrique and wasn't getting many games (Just 3 appearances the season just gone) and it seems the right move for Liverpool & Fabio.

    That's what worries me.
    FSG's first long-term plan lasted 18mths.
If it is Martinez I expect long-term plan 2 to last to Xmas.

  4. Can't say I am surprised with either. Aurelio was always going to go in my eyes, he is a quality players that is in the twilight of his career and needs to be playing. A move back to his native country is perfect for him IMO.

Amoo as not lived up to the expectation and wasn't going to be knocking on the first teams door no matter how long he stayed, he didn't exactly set the world alight at Bury either. Slightly disappointed we don't get to chant 'Amooooooo' but it was the right decision for both Amoo and LFC.

I wish them both all the best in their new ventures <ok>

    Agreed.

Aurelio wasn't going to play much next season with Robinson becoming likely back-up to Enrique so saves us a bit of money in wages on a player which wasn't really going to play much next season. (And probably spend most of the season injured!)

Can't see our new manager (Whoever that may be) wanting to keep either Amoo or Aurelio so it's a good start to the transfer window in regards to outgoings.

no way can we depend on robinson. he's done nothing to prove himself like kelly or even flanagan and has been injury ridden....

he needs to be allowed to develop as a 18 year old not shoved into action too much

Aurelio was a great player, when fit, excellent delivery from wide areas Enrique could only dream of

IMO we dont need another LB Johnson ,Agger and Downing could all do a job there

  8. I think Johnson, Agger, Carragher and Wilson would all play ahead of Robinson. Didn't Jonjo Shelvey play a few games there under Kenny too?

Robinson did very well towards the end of the 2010-11 season but I know what you meaning, he is not at the same stage as Flanagan but then, he's been given more match time to develop too.
