For me there is no conspiracy, just very coincidental timing, like getting 2 pens from web at 3 down like getting a pen from webb at 2 down against spurs, when refs give pens for nothing it promotes suspicion, big surprise there. You could equally claim it was coincidental timing that Newcastle got a penalty for nothing when 1-0 down at OT, right before City's tough game at Anfield. Or coincidental that Utd were denied a clear penalty at 0-0 at Stoke when a win would have put them two points clear of City. Course there's some corruption - the Stevens inquiry found all the problems with the agents, and there have been the betting issues involving Rooney's dad and others. But the idea that there's systemic corruption is just stupid. Like you say, betting is what interferes with results, and if there's anything a dodgy gambler doesn't want it's an obvious pattern of results to draw attention to their activities.

Nowt to do with being bitter, i thought tevez was an utter ****stain when he played for us too. The bastard's got more lives than a cat. As for Young's diving, i'll be the first to admit it's unacceptable, but if a burly brick **** house like Drogba get's away with it then the waife like Young shouldn't be pilloried for doing so.
