Him as a total player then no...absolutely not. I was just trying to separate the talent from the person/personality traits/thuggery. If that talent was in a mild mannered team player then no one would think twice about signing a player like that. But i think my later point still stands that if any team signed him then a majority of the fans would be outraged...unless he was banging in the goals weekly for fun then all would be fine!

If he ever came to our club, the chairman can expect a strongly worded letter from me including phrases such as : you've taken us as far as we can go, and we will never get anywhere while your calling the shots etc sorry dai, couldn't resist!

no problem i had a chuckle myself.. but in all seriousness we dont need or want a player like barton in the swans dressing room. he is a hot head and can explode at any time for the tiniest of reasons. he can be the best player ever but if the dressing room is not right then the players wont perform 100%..dont ever consider barton at any cost. he is his own worst enemy...
