BREAKING ENGLAND NEWS ON THE EUROS. John Ruddy of Norwich has broken his finger in training so will now miss the tournament. Jack Butland from Birmingham takes the No.3 GK slot.
What a heartless pratt you are. Nobody expected him to play any part game wise but to miss out on being part of the England squad and to gain tournament experience will be a sickener for Ruddy. Thankfully for him his finger wont ruin his wedding night. Hope that you miss out on something equally important to you sometime soon. Oh i forgot, your off to Sunderland University for a while.
Seriously? Myhill played all matches for Brum this season. Butland 12 games on loan at Cheltenham. Must be a wind up but too lazy to check
You can't complain that people jump down your throat when you've got such an itchy trigger finger yourself. I was actually lightly and harmlessly mocking the "BREAKING NEWS" thing that you went for, not the incident itself. I have every sympathy for the lad. Myhill plays for Wales.
I find this rather strange that someone who played for Cheltenham is in the England squad, I thought I was going mad the other day when I saw that name. I think Roy's maybe been playing Football Manager & got confused about what year it is.
To be fair, this is bang on. When reading it's impossible not to think of 'Lawro', as he's jovially known.
He's not going to get a game, so it doesn't really matter, but he is the U21's keeper and he looks like a hot prospect.
It was the way you replied that got my dander up thats all. Yes i do feel for the lad. Then again i remember a time when a broken finger was nothing. You can tape it to a good one. Men used to be men i guess. Still sad though.
Apparently, the coaching staff at Brum want Butland to be the 1st choice keepr next season, with Myhill going back and Foster most than likely to leave, also their second keeper Doyle has been released I think. Apparently Man U and Chelsea are preparing bids of around 7 - 10 mil for him, he's in the England first team, granted 3rd choice but he's still ahead of Carson and Robinson
