http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/amoo-set-for-preston-switch David Amoo is a powerful forward whose Liverpool journey began in 2007. A host of clubs sought his signature but the Millwall youngster chose to continue his football education at the Academy. Two years later Amoo was promoted to the reserves after a 12-goal campaign which included a Kop end winner against Chelsea U18s en route to the FA Youth Cup final. After signing a fresh two-year deal in the summer of 2010, the forward featured under Roy Hodgson in pre-season before making his competitive debut on July 29 in a Europa League qualifier against Rabotnicki. Following loan spells with MK Dons and Hull City, Amoo is currently on loan at Bury. He once represented London as a sprinter in the English Schools National Track and Field Championships Big loss?
Shame that he is not getting a new contract from us saw him play several times and thought he would break into 1st team next season or the season after Oh well good luck to the lad
These 2 were already told before Kenny left that they would not play for us anymore Amoo's contract expires end of this month and Aurelio only got a pay as you play contract for a year at the start of last season
AHHH, Another one of the N'Gog, Ngoo, Amoo Triangle of ultimate success leaves the club - Ultimate sadness right here
Cant see Amoo being good enough. Especially as he is not moving to a PL team. Aurelio is always injured.
no loss cos for all his power and pace at junior level he steadfastly refused to learn to look up. he never developed cos he just thought he had enough as he was. best of luck at preston cos it aint like its a big move but he could get a move on from there if he does learn.
It's not like it's Hodgson making dumbass decisions like giving Dalla Valle to Fulham to sweeten the Konchesky deal. We have good people at the Academy and if they don't think Amoo can make the leap then I trust their judgement.
He had power and pace, but looked like a flamingo on speed most of the time. Didn't play with his head up..Good luck to him though, i hope it works out for him.
