Out of the following strikers, who would it be? Steven Fletcher - proven in prem, good goal return, got at least 6-8 years left Burak Yilmaz - Tank in the turkish league, lots of goals, assists, seems to have it all Gabriel Agbonlahor - Fast (about all there is to him imo) Jermain Defoe - We have been linked with him again, would love him hear but cant see it Grant Holt - 31 but was good in prem last season, big target man which MON loves Junior Hoilett - Similar to campbell imo, but with a bit more of a sight for goal Also would just like to point out, according to http://www.safc.com/page/PressTalkDetail/0,,10281~2787118,00.html we have been linked with Phillipe Mexes Mexes imo is way above us as he is beastly in defence, would love him hear yet can't see it
Fletcher and Hoilett out of that lot as for Mexes he certainly would be next level but cannot see it happening
Fletcher and Agbonlahor for me - I think they could form a great partnership which is something we haven't really had since SKP and Quinny
Defoe for definate i like the look of Burak Yilmaz but i think its time we had some proven players in the squad so ill go for Fletcher
I would love a bit of a left field signing and I think Yilmaz would offer that. Less pressure that way I think. Also, I would take Fletcher. Since he is proven and wouldnt be much of a risk. So one "risky" signing and one proven one. think that would work
Fletcher & Hoillett as well. Mexes would be an incredible signing, seems about as likely as Steve Bruce admitting responsibility.
Fletcher & Defoe for me Fletcter is a good target man & chips in with a few goals & Defoe proven finisher.
Fletcher and Defoe would be a phenomenal summer transfer coup imo. Defoe is proven at this level time and time again. Fletcher is a perfect foil and one of the star performers in the EPL considering his goals return, assists and general team play in a very, very poor Wolves outfit. Get the pair for £20m and flog Gyan for £10m. Or how about a straight swap for Defoe and Gyan, as Arry once courted the lethargic Ghanaian lard arse big time didn’t he?
