    Here's a quiz to peruse at your leisure.

    The quiz consists of 20 questions; 5 about Pompey, 5 more about football, 5 about other sport and 5 general knowledge.

    The answer is the year these things happened (additional info for clever-clogses is optional)

    Because I'm such a kind and generous soul, I've listed the questions in chronological order!

    Devo, you don't suppose that the title is putting people off? Some of your quizzes have lasted for quite a duration <whistle>, and who can forget the everlasting numbers thread? (Hopefully, everyone!).

    Perhaps you should have entitled it, "twenty questions?"

    I believe Cyprus was annexed by the British Empire in 1914 when the Ottoman Empire declared war against us in the First World War.

    Churchill became Chancellor of the Exchequer in 1924 in Stanley Baldwin's government.

    Highest cricket total was I think, Sri Lanka, 1998? Didn't they get 1000+
    I know England scored 903 once.

    Two more correct answers for MAJR.

    meowth has the right side but the wrong year. I'm certain they could have reached 1,000+ but they declared on 952/6!

    He also has the correct runner but not the year :emoticon-0101-sadsm
