I've spent the last couple of days in Westminster lobbying the Treasury. It was absolutely bloody boiling up there yesterday and I'm glad to be back home in the relative cool of the Cotswolds.

Oh for the chance of topping up the tan! Have you tried medication for your hayfever (Benzadril etc)? And also for your football allegiance? <laugh> :emoticon-0105-wink:

I'm suffering bad this year with Hayfever, got told by a farmer that chewing gum works, he says that he suffers with Hayfever but not so much now!
Can't have chewing gum as I have a hiatus hernia so might work on some others.

    What was you lobbying BB

Against VAT on static caravans - I presented to the All Party Parliamentary Tourism Group in a room off Westminster Hall last Tuesday, on my ruddy birthday! Putting the industry's case against VAT at 20% to 20 MPs and peers was a somewhat different birthday experience than going on the lash!

You ought to get that hiatus hernia sorted out ROD - you don't want something like that ruining your summer....how long have you been carrying that for?

Had the Hernia repaired in 2007 but they done the wrap to tight, so could not eat or drink for 2 -3 weeks, then in 2009 they had to release th wrap but scar tissue already damaged my throat. Don't suffer that bad with it now at all just double up on the daily tablets when out on a sesh, and stuff like that.

Anyway happy bithday for the other day <ok>
