BBC say Whelan has set a deadline for when Martinez must decide on his Wigan future. I think Martinez could be a good choice, though I'm leaning more towards AVB.
bbc reporting it as the start of the interview process, should imagine AVb will be interviewed too (in the US too) and then a decision made
Why doesn't Dave Whelan keep quiet?! He has to tell the media everything. Just keep quiet and let the process continue. **** sake... Rant over and back on topic! At the moment, he's jsut gone over for an interview. Wouldn't say it was a done deal at the moment.
Wigan chairman Dave Whelan said"He is honest and up front and I expect to hear from him in the next 48 hours."
When I'm on holiday I'm usually completely pissed and tend to agree to just about anything, If Martinez is anything like me he'll be signed up as Liverpools new groundsman by the end of the week.
A lot of talk going around that they have talked to Rafa in the last 24 hrs..Not sure how i feel on that one!
Whelan is not the loveable old rogue he himself and the media portray him as. I still haven't forgiven him for saying he wanted United to win the title 24 hours before we went into a title decider with United needing Wigan to take something off them. A first class K.Hunt in my eyes
Whelan has got to have the biggest gob in football. Does the guy ever shut up? I reckon he's getting a kick out of being center of attention, like he's got some secret information that everyone 'must' know. Martinez is talking to FSG, like we knew he would be as it was confirmed last week. Theres been others FSG have talked to already, its not like Martinez is the only one. I wonder, as Martinez seems destined to leave is Whelan going to be this open and talkavie to the media when Wigan are on the hunt for a new manager?
Mostly in the Twitter verse the talk of Rafa. Will look to see if i can see anything more concrete than that
