There was a report via CNN he had died but I am now led to believe it is false/rumour.

 

Let me guess that CNN got the reports from Twitter (The home of bull****)?

 

No - from ABC (American TV network) I think - but they in turn probably picked them up from Twitter.

 

Nope, you're wrong.

CNN got the reports from Matth's twitter feed, who got them from a JA606 thread, which was based on a twitter rumour dipped heavily in sarcasm.

Case closed.

Twitter was indeed the start. There are approximately 65 million tweets per day. Of which about 4 are accurate.
