Oddly enough, that was my exact thoughts when reading that forum. Normally I shy away from other club rivalry apart from TWS, but honestly, they deserve everything they get.
He wanted him out because he was banging Taylor's daughter. So he went cheaply. That may or may not be true. It was a while ago.
These posts about us losing players has got to stop! I am losing sleep and I'm going off my food and its not good for me in my state of health. I have tried not reading them but I can't help it, so please help me !!!!!
So he wanted him out because he was banging the daughter of someone who was no longer connected to the club? He was a **** central midfielder anyway. He might as well have held the opponents hands and escorted them through our defence with the way he ran 10 yards goal side of them like they had a forcefield round them. We'd have been better off with 10 men, at least then nobody would be expecting the player stood right next to the opponent with the ball to make a challenge rather than running 10 yards away from him. As a wide midfielder he was class though.
http://newsthump.com/2012/05/24/emile-heskey-arrives-in-hull-to-discuss-move-to-leicester/ Hey we don't get mentioned often, and this is a new take on an old gag but it made me laugh and seemed appropriate for here!
You don't half post some ****e. He went for £75k because it was what he was worth, he hasn't generated a fee from any other club since and at the age of 30 is playing non-league.
I went to watch city v Carlisle when we spanked them 4-1 or 4-0 and Glennon was in goal for Carlisle, he was being taunted by the City fans and then kissed his Carlisle badge.....very funny!
Is that the best that the Foxes can come up with ? Its so sad really. They have named so many pairs its laughable. Just about the only name not mentioned has been Messi. ffs Desperate people those foxes. As a Thin Lizzy song went ""Dont Beleave a Word""
I think you'll find the Thin Lizzy song was called 'Don't believe a word'. Does my ****ing head in...
I'm only deleting clutter, stick everything on a single post instead of answering each comment one by one and they'll stay up.
Would anyone else be happy to see Stewart go for £1.5 mill +? Bar a handful of games when he first arrived and a few when he returned from injury he has been pretty poor. Perhaps with a full pre-season behind him he will start to fulfil some potential, but he can only carry on putting in performances like the second half of last season for so long before his value drops.
I just wandered over to their forum on here to see who they'd got, my money was on the actual chuckle brothers, but was starting to lose the will to live reading about the disappointment they're suffering due to just Sunderland going for a pre season and not Real Madrid, so, who did they get? Oh and why's that Andy King Crown Jewels cretin got a City being promoted gif in his signature? Bet?
He has no confidence at the moment, he plays with no passion because he feels all the fans want him to leave, I like Stewart, perhaps the reason he played so badly because Barmby didn't have the experienced attitude to sternly bollock him and tell him to improve, if we got an experienced manager who knew how to boost not one, but the entire teams confidence ahead of the new season, who knows, he might just be Championship player of the year next season with the right approach
I wouldn't like to see him go, not even for £1m more. Now we have to have a new manager; Cam gets a good break, and hopefully a good pre-season, perhaps or hopefully at least 2 out 3 of those things might be the impetus to get him firing on all cylinders again. IMHO, I don't believe he wants to be away from the club.
