Just been watching Hitlers children programme and the son of Hans Franc(guy who was in charge of "sorting Poland" out of its "Jewish problem" said we have to be ready for the rerise of evil in times of economical distress. With the rise of the "Golden Eagles" in Greece and more than a few calling for a new "strong leader" and not one from the main political parties whenever theres a redundancy story on our very own Thisishulleastriding, how far are we away from voting for someone who has all the answers to our economic/general state of affairs? especially if some pollicies include tackling the Spring bank effect of "fewer jobs for us" and complete refacing of an area some of us grew up in?.Not talking some one policy dick like Nick Griffin here but the next evil genius.ps if Dawson doesnt get a testimonial match its an outrage.

Surely Dawson will get a testimonial? People always look for scapegoats when times are tough, you just hope most people are smart enough not to buy into that kind of thinking. If we'd have got invaded by the Nazis I wouldn't be here now because of their views on the disabled, and also, like Hitler himself, I have a Jewish grandparent.

Not really an appropriate post for this forum given the political content.

The Spring Bank fiasco could be solved by deporting all Iraqi Kurds. Pssssst. The war's over.

Stop and search to check legal status in the UK would further filter out the illegals.

We would be left with just the genuine migrants/refugees and the legal.

    Where's the problem?

Unless of course you like paying for a foreign country's petty criminals with your taxes?

Do you have a problem with everything that's not 100% Hull City?
The whole reason that this is better than other boards is that we can discuss almost anything and everything.

Although it's a serious and interesting topic, I don't think the mods are too keen on religious or political subjects

That Hitler's Children was a very interesting programme. Dunno if i could shoulder the guilt because of the actions of my father's generation, if i was in their position. It is definitely easier to be in denial about it. It's mad to think the daughter of Hermann Goring has gone down the line of sterilisation to prevent anymore Gorings entering the world.

There will always be a right wing parties, such as the BNP, and the more extreme elements like Combat 18 and the EDL, but this is a democratic system and they should be allowed to have their say. As long as it's constitutional and not just kicking off. If the country wasn't in such a sdire situation, i couldn't see them getting anywhere, because it's ingrained in our nation not to trust them.

Rules are made to be broken.
Indeed. Unfortunately the block feature is a bit crap on this website. Not the creators fault of course, just that if other people quote him you end up seeing it anyway.

In all fairness Agro I think you make some pretty compelling points when it comes to all things City, I just don't like your attitude to off-topic debates.

    Tried that. Neighbors weren't happy.

Click on the persons name, it takes you to their profile, there is an option there to put somebody on an ignore list. Not adding anybody else on here as nobody is really that offensive or objectionable. I agree with Golaccio about freedom of speech but when it comes to Nazism I think maybe I had relatives in those camps and that effects the way I think about the subject. Germany has a ban on neo-nazis which I totally agree with.

Thanks Nishy n city for your intelligent replies..completely agree/disagree with your first thought of wrong forum(i know of no other for my sins) city agro, but perhaps an unbiased entry into a groundlevel forum would produce the better current view of the everydayman(like me).

Are we technically aloud to discuss these topics, I'd like too but doesn't DMD and OLM find religious and political threads inappropriate due to things getting out of hand

It's odd that the Communist Party is not banned in many European countries given Stalin's tens of millions killed, the KGB, the Stasi etc.

They do and so does France, but there's parties who bypass this.

I think saw that the German National Socialist party (don't think that's their official name) won some support in the old East Germany and are gaining notoriety. Same with right wing parties in suprising countries like Sweden along with France, Austria and Greece.

Despite what the mods say about a veto on all things religious/political, I'm confident they're very unlikely to close the thread until things do actually get out of hand.
